Frnly ("we," "us," or "our") operates the booking platform at frnly.io. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you use the Service — whether you are a service provider (operator) setting up a booking page or a client making an appointment.
If you have questions, contact us at support@frnly.io.
Information you provide directly:
Information collected automatically:
We use the information we collect to:
We do not use your personal information for behavioral advertising or sell it to data brokers or advertisers.
Frnly sends transactional SMS and text messages on behalf of service providers to clients who have explicitly opted in. This section describes exactly how that works.
We only send text messages to clients who have provided their mobile phone number and checked the consent checkbox when completing a booking. This opt-in is voluntary — you are never required to provide a phone number or check the box to make a booking.
Messages sent via SMS are strictly transactional and appointment-related:
We do not send promotional, marketing, or advertising text messages. Message frequency varies depending on the number of appointments you have scheduled.
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS reminders for future appointments, but existing bookings will not be affected. Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at support@frnly.io.
Your mobile opt-in data — including your phone number and the fact that you consented to receive SMS messages — is never shared with or sold to third parties for marketing purposes. This information is used solely to deliver the transactional appointment messages you consented to receive, and is not disclosed to any third party for their own marketing or promotional use.
Frnly uses Twilio to deliver SMS messages. Twilio processes phone numbers and message content on our behalf as a service provider under a data processing agreement. Twilio does not receive or use your opt-in consent data for any purpose other than transmitting messages on our behalf.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the limited circumstances described below:
We do not share your SMS opt-in data or mobile phone number with any third party for their own marketing purposes.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you close your account or request deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or audit purposes.
Appointment records may be retained in aggregate or anonymized form for analytics and platform improvement after deletion of your account.
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These include encrypted connections (TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to contact us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.
Frnly uses cookies strictly for the operation of the Service:
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or any cookie associated with third-party ad networks. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies; refer to your browser's help documentation for instructions. Note that disabling session cookies will prevent you from staying logged in.
Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@frnly.io. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.
The Service is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at support@frnly.io and we will delete it promptly.
Provider booking pages may contain links to external websites or social media profiles. Frnly is not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy at frnly.io/privacy and, where appropriate, notify registered users by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last revised.
Providers can connect their Google Calendar so Frnly keeps their availability accurate and puts bookings onto their calendar automatically. This section describes exactly what we access, what we write, and how we handle that data.
When a client books an appointment, Frnly creates an event on your chosen calendar containing the appointment time, service name, and client name. This mirrors what you would enter yourself. We write nothing else — no recurring events, no access to other calendars, and no changes to existing events you created.
Google Calendar data is used solely to keep your availability accurate and to put bookings on your calendar. We never sell Google data, never share it with third parties for any purpose, never use it for advertising or analytics, and no human at Frnly reads your calendar — sync is fully automated.
Access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption. Disconnecting Google Calendar in Settings immediately deletes the stored tokens from our database and sends a best-effort revocation request to Google. You can also revoke Frnly's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Frnly's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
